Louisville Family Portraits · Andrea Hughes, Family Photographer · The Brown Family
Oh I can't tell you how much I adore the Brown Family! When they reached out for portraits, I was so excited because I remember how much fun we had at our last photoshoot 4 years earlier. The Brown's daughter, Vivian was only 6 years old then. But she has grown into a mature 10 year old with a natural demeanor in front of the camera. Marie Brown really loves flowers and nature, and 4 years ago we went to Whitehall Mansions which is beautiful in the spring with all the blooms. But this time we changed it up and went to the gorgeous Locust Grove, which is one of my all-time favorite spots to shoot at all year round. It still gave us lots of flowers and plants, and lent itself to a gorgeous background for photos.
For the majority of our session we stayed on a narrow, green path. But then we ventured out to where there were more flowers, as well as photographing in front of the main home. Vivian professed that she did not like having her photo taken, and was not a fan of photo sessions. But surprisingly she came to life, and gave me such beautiful, natural poses and expressions. She didn't need much coaching...she was a natural!
To the Brown family, thank you for allowing me to capture such wonderful memories. You three have such a special bond, and I was so happy to capture it. Enjoy this Louisville photoshoot at Locust Grove.
